Manager Data Science

Job Description
Duties: Deliver data and information management recommendations that align with business needs; source and integrate multiple internal / external data sources; design a sophisticated, agile and robust information infrastructure and data management process; collaborate with various teams to drive data development; identify new areas of opportunity to reduce complexity, improve data quality, and increase efficiency throughout the information management lifecycle; and ensure standard data operating procedures, data quality standards, and data privacy/security requirements are followed; manage a team of data scientists who can create, test and document complex data models and forecasting; and manage employees including assessing talent, deescalating conflict, creating a work environment conducive to direct reports unlocking their full potential, handling of project workload.
Requirements: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Data Science or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a analyst-related occupation.
Experience must include to the following:
1. Unstructured, distributed data warehouse such as AWS, Azure, or Cassandra;
2. Integrated development environments such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft SQL Server;
3. Python;
4. Data visualization such as PowerBI or Tableau;
5. Analytics including descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive;
6. SQL;
7. R;
8. Data architecture;
9. Data integration/ETL;
10. Public Speaking;
11. Leading a team;
12. Project Management; and
13. Data warehousing deployed in a complex environment.
