Production Engineering Manager

Defines the working phase sequence of a new production process (Paint, Electrical Plating or Epoxy resin bed) to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget
Ensures appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets
Identifies and recommends improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements
Ensures the production process complies with the project targets
Design for processes developed internally or externally and performs final tests with respect to the project
Provides support to Tech Services during the internal/external process/equipment startup, defining action plans and training relevant to maintenance and production resources
Evaluates new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering and 8+ years experience in design or manufacturing preferred, OR Associate's Degree and 10+ years in design or manufacturing. HS Diploma required.
• Well versed in relevant software (e.g. AutoCad, MS Office)
• Design experience, including ability to translate design specifications into a vendor bid package.
• Powder Coating and/or knowledge of painting systems
• Ability to oversee the installation, commissioning and startup of process related equipment
• Ability to write operational and maintenance procedures
• Prior experience in: Data Analysis & Reporting, Project Management, and Supplier Relationship Management, Budget & Performance Management
