Company Description

Responsible for effectively planning, developing, implementing, overseeing, and integrating the overall management of facility support for the Center. Sets and maintains professional and ethical standards among department personnel.

Job Description
  • Provides daily input of student data into the center MIS system
  • Monitors the status and quality of the preventive maintenance program.
  • Reports needed changes to the Director of Administrative Services for revision of program.
  • Reviews policies and procedures annually.
  • Ensures pest control
  • Develop and maintain a detailed preventive maintenance plan.
  • Maintains and makes repairs or arranges for maintenance/repairs to: heating equipment, refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, electrical systems, water heaters, plumbing systems, washers, dryers, small appliances, and safety equipment.
  • Notifies Director, Administrative Services if unable to complete any of the above-noted performance expectations. Contacts appropriate person to complete repairs and monitors their work quality.
  • Notifies the Director, Administrative Services of repairs/costs above routine expenditures.
  • O&M deficiencies noted on Facility Surveys, OASAM inspections, etc are corrected within 180 days
  • Prioritizes work orders
  • Completes minor repairs, such as patching holes, painting, clearing obstructions from drains and toilets. Repairs furniture, doorknobs and locks. Replaces light bulbs, light ballast and cover plates.
  • Notifies Director, Administrative Services if unable to complete any of the above-noted performance expectations. Contacts appropriate person to complete repairs and monitors their work quality.
  • Notifies the Director, Administrative Services of repairs/costs above routine expenditures.
  • Reviews vehicle checklists (submitted as directed) for needed repairs or maintenance.
  • Completes vehicle mileage log as directed and submits to Supervisor, noting any violations of company vehicle use policy.
  • Notifies Supervisor of repairs/costs above routine expenditures.
  • Submits mileage report to DOL.
  • Purchases supplies and parts for the Maintenance Department.
  • Notifies supervisor of supply costs.
  • Notifies supervisor of the potential to exceed the monthly budgeted amount.
  • Places tools and other maintenance equipment in proper storage after use.
  • Cleans maintenance area, maintenance storage building and fenced in chiller unit.
  • May clean other areas as assigned by supervisor or Center Director.
  • Life safety deficiencies are addressed within 3 months
  • Major projects are initiated within 6 months
  • Maintains accurate, detailed records of accounting for status of CRA projects.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Three years of maintenance experience required, and one year of supervisory experience is preferred.

Education:

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
