Description

Position Summary:


The Branch Manager is responsible for oversight of service and operations for a branch in a designated market. This includes the supervision of branch staff to include the management of the branch's operations policies and procedures to ensure quality control protocols are in place. The Branch Manager will be responsible for supporting the banks' partners assigned to the branch and be a referral source for new business. The manager will perform quality control checks while using discretion and independent judgement and make recommendations to Retail leadership to ensure efficiency and continuous process improvement of the branch. The Branch Manager will contribute to the strategic plan for Retail Operations and implement process improvements that support the efficient delivery of service to clients. This includes the management of consumer account relationships assigned to their portfolio and referring business leads to bank partners. The primary areas of impact for this role are branch and bank growth, strategic planning, teller operations, new accounts, and employee development.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Branch management and oversight of their market area
  • Develops and implements strategies for the delivery of quality and effective customer service.
  • Manage consumer account relationships assigned to the consumer line of business in their market
  • Refers business leads through community and civic involvement in local organizations
  • Able to initiate and respond to Consumer Loan questions from clients
  • Coaches branch team to seek opportunities that will grow the bank and follow the banks' service model.
  • Manages Branch Operations Supervisor and Relationship Banker's to high performance standards
  • Responsible for branch team development and creating a collaborative approach to the client experience
  • Monitors performance and completes performance appraisals for direct reports
  • Trains for and reviews new accounts to ensure all required documentation has been completed
  • Conducts cash and key audits for controls and compliance
  • Monitors Salesforce to ensure proper tracking of service needs utilizing Salesforce CSR's
  • Utilizes Salesforce daily for employee and client communications
  • Responsible for all branch duties and monitors workflow to ensure consistency
  • Recommends new procedures that may foster more consistency within the branch network
  • Assists clients with issues or requests and takes on any duties of branch employees, as needed
  • Works and collaborates across lines of business with internal clients to help grow market share
  • Keeps branch partners informed of business leads
  • Represents the bank in local civic and professional associations
  • Annual budget and planning responsibilities
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements

Education and Experience Qualifications:


High School Diploma and/or GED required. Minimum of three to five years of management experience in a banking environment. Must be able to work independently, have well developed people and referral skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management in a cross-functional team environment. The preferred candidate will reside in the New Braunfels market area and have the ability to travel to all locations when required.
