Job Description

Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Lead Technical Program Manager (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to
* Develop, deliver, and manage end-to-end technology products to promote the growth of digital commerce and mobilization of payments in emerging and developed markets.
* Work across multiple business and technical units to drive overall project success.
* Support business partners during the ideation phase.
* Drive requirements elaboration with business and technology partners.
* Write detailed and executive friendly status reports.
* Manage technical project scope definition and understand project priority.
* Drive cross-functional planning and project execution with the technology teams.
* Develop and manage detailed baseline project plans.
* Drive, manage, and track projects through each phase of the project life cycle through to successful completion.
* Deliver and accountable for E2E project Delivery.
* Manage and deliver multiple projects in parallel, working with different teams.
* Manage and communicate status, issues and risks with project stakeholders.
* Manage project change requests, project priorities, and project trade-offs.
* Provide leadership to cross-functional, global project teams.
* Maintain current project documentation.
* Drive team compliance with quality, security, operational resilience, and other non-functional requirements.
* Work closely with members of Product Management, UI/UX, Product Development, QA, Release Management, Implementation Management, Security, and Operations teams, as well as with all levels of management within the organization.
* Develop, operate and tailor Agile and Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
* Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-up meetings, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and other scrum ceremonies.
* Develop metrics and reports using Rally to help the team understand its health and progress and to set goals.
* Produce weekly status reports, manage risks and pro-actively partner with fellow PM's.
* Position reports to the Employer's Austin, TX office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
* Up to 10% domestic and international travel is required.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or closely related field and 10 years of experience in a computer-related occupation.
  • Developing, operating, and tailoring Agile and Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Methodologies
  • Product management
  • Developing metrics and reports using Rally
  • Scrum Activities, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily task-up meetings, reviews/demos, retrospectives
  • PPM tools, including JIRA, Clarity PPM, HP PPM
  • MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio.
Additional Information

Worksite: Austin, TX

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: Up to 10% domestic and international travel is required.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $191,755.00 USD to $235,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
