Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

The Corporate Counsel, Associate will support legal department on a

wide variety of legal situations by dealing with complex matters with

multiple stakeholders.

  • Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft and review agreements, contracts and other legal documents.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration and decision-making across all departments, like Human Resources, Operations, Sales, Product, and Finance.
  • Comply with internal law department tracking and documentation requirements, as well as all corporate policies.
  • Develop hands-on working relationships with business partners at all levels, and across various teams of the company to achieve best synergies.
  • Act as primary negotiator to review, draft and negotiate IT consulting, services and subcontracting agreements and advise.
  • Act as trusted legal advisor to internal stakeholders with respect to variety of transactions.
  • Special projects and other duties, as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES

  • Experience managing a large number and variety of mission-critical projects
  • Experience working independently and navigating ambiguous environments
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate legal and possible risks clearly and succinctly to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Experience working with paralegals, assistants, and business clients cooperatively and efficiently
  • Creative problem solver
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • 2-5 years of specialized/industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
