Job Description

The Sr. Manager of IT Operations will report directly to the Sr Director of IT and will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals and coordinating with other departments within the organization to ensure that our technology strategy aligns with our overall business goals The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our systems and infrastructure are reliable, efficient, and secure and leading the end-to-end support transformation and operations.

Job Duties:

* Assist the SR Director of IT in the development and execution of a comprehensive IT Operations strategy that supports business objectives.

* Manage a team of highly skilled IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.

* Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT network, Assets, and support.

* Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure our IT systems and infrastructure are secure, reliable, and scalable.

* Lead the ongoing development and management of the disaster recovery plan to minimize downtime and ensure business operations can continue in the event of a disaster or major outage.

* Assist in optimizing IT infrastructure, systems, network, and support operations.

* Monitor and analyze system performance; implement changes as needed to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

* Develop and maintain metrics and reporting to measure the effectiveness of IT Operations.

* Ensure major IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations are completed on time.

* Assist with the management of the IT Operations' budget.

* Stay current with industry trends and advancements and assess their potential impact on our business.

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that business needs are being met.

* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Education

* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience

Experience

* Previous experience managing large capital and operational budgets.

* Minimum 8 years of experience in IT operations or software development.

* Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.

* Strong leadership and management skills.

* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, virtualization, security, and cloud computing.

* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CCNA, etc.) (preferred).
