The TM Operations Manager II will be responsible for oversight, coordination, first line management and day to day operations of the Lockbox payments team. In addition, the manager will represent the team on any project work toward process improvement, new initiatives and strategy. The manager is expected to be a subject matter expert in all phases of the work that the team is performing and contribute to production when the workload dictates. The manager will monitor team SLA's and assist with any roadblocks preventing the SLA from being met. The Lockbox Payment Operations Manager will work closely with Treasury Management Support, LOB Partners and Vendors, on process improvement allowing for increased customer and teammate satisfaction.

Essential Job Duties

Direct contributions to key business outcomes such as day to day Lockbox payments operations, client satisfaction, achieving SLA targets and fostering a culture of performance and process improvement.

Be a subject matter expert on all Lockbox Payment policies, procedures and end to end integration.

Create, maintain and process monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Collaborate with vendors/FED on testing, system upgrades and issue resolution.

Write, update, maintain and adhere to Lockbox payment procedures.

Develops and maintains internal relationships with business partners vital to improving process and procedures.

Conduct monthly meetings with Senior Management to provide updates on goals, SLA's, issues/resolutions, staffing.

Identify and implement ways to increase efficiencies and processes. With a focus on items per FTE.

Spend time side by side with the team to improve end to end process and production.

Exhibit creativity identifying and evaluating growth strategies.

Ensure compliance with risk management function by controlling update to date policies and procedures.

Must be proactive in managing escalated issues and ensuring all necessary steps have been taken towards resolution.

Work closely with Audit to ensure operational soundness.

Identify Self Identified Audit Issues and present them to Risk for resolution.

Administrator of all Lockbox payment systems. (Jack Henry, IRIS, OpenCheck)

Hiring, training, and scheduling teammates.

Coach, council and develop the talent on the team. Develop a succession plan and career path for all teammates within the Tupelo Lockbox

Conduct periodic staff meetings with Lockbox staff.


Minimum Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal/collaborative skills to build and maintain effective relationships

Strong Organizational and follow skills

Business professional with integrity, trustworthy, honesty, and able to handle confidential information

5- 8 years Lockbox payments experience

3- 5 years management experience
