Job Description and Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Analog Mixed-Signal I/O designer to join our high-speed DDR team.

Our team specializes in building next generation high-speed DDR PHY systems that provide world-class performance. In this role, you will work with our cross-functional Analog Mixed-Signal design teams to create state-of-the-art IPs key to Synopsys success. You will be challenged to make the best-in-class designs.

In this position, you would be part of a team that plans and executes the design for the next-generation DDR in the Synopsys IP portfolio. You will join a multi-person / multi-site engineering team engaged in similar activities on related DDR development projects.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • A knowledge of high-speed interface methods, including mixed-signal design and off-chip signaling
  • A solid understanding of analog principles and designs, (e.g., bandgaps, LDO regulators, current mirrors, DLL/PLLs etc.)
  • Experience in designing high-speed I/Os, including, but not limited to, receivers, transmitters, transceivers, CTLE and DFE circuits
  • A solid understanding of signal-integrity principles
  • Skilled in generating documentation through written specifications, and communicating those specifications within a design team and to external customers
  • A solid plus, but not required would be a familiarity with RTL design, simulation, test planning, and verification of complex integrated circuit components
  • Able to work across a multi-site team to communicate ideas, solve problems, and find solutions to create a leading-edge design

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $111,000-$194,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
