Purpose:

Recommends modifications and upgrades of manufacturing equipment. Keeps current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment

performance and reliability. Documents and implements programs and recommends solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Minimum of three years engineering experience within the Semiconductor/Electronics Industry
• Working knowledge of: production/manufacturing equipment and test equipment, ISO 9000 standards, SPC data management, computer controlled equipment and associated diagnostic software, and engineering sciences statistics
• College degree in Engineering or related field. Equivalent experience may substitute for degree
