HDR is currently seeking a CADD Technician for our Water group in Central Texas.

Primary Responsibilities:

In the role of Water/Wastewater/Water Resources CADD Technician, we'll count on you to:

  • Produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs by using computer-aided design software, with occasional assistance from supervisor or others
  • Conduct field investigations and inspections as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D and Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential
  • Water Infrastructure background
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology preferred
  • 1 year of experience in civil design with AutoCAD or MicroStation
  • Preference given to candidates that are local to Austin or San Antonio, TX
