RMB Capital Management is a Chicago-based investment advisory firm with more than $9 billion in assets under management. We are currently seeking a summer intern to join our Human Resources team in Chicago, IL. This is an exciting opportunity for a hard-working team player who wants to make an impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Areas of Focus:

  • Address employee inquiries about benefits and update FAQ's
  • Organize and audit digital HR files
  • Update HRIS with employee information
  • Work with HR team to update KPI's and tracking
  • Prepare and update documents, reports, and procedures as needed
  • Work with Learning & Development Committee to create and update training materials
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding as needed
  • Research and present on topics assigned by HR team (i.e., benefits improvements)
  • Track priorities, progress, and deadlines of various projects

Requirements:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, human resources management, or related field as a junior
  • Strong desire for a career in Human Resources
  • Interest in financial markets and economy
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain organized and detail oriented while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks, and to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn specialized systems and software quickly
  • Cover letter is required
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
