The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) is the nation's voice for community banks with its mission to create and promote an environment where community banks flourish. What Is a Community Bank? A community bank is a depository or lending institution that primarily serves businesses and individuals in a small geographic area. Community banks tend to emphasize personal relationships with their customers.
The 2023 ICBA Summer Intern program will be from June 5th to August 4th. The program will be a learning experience and help you gain valuable job experience and develop essential skills. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership, work on meaningful projects, participate in learning and development opportunities and join in networking and social events with other Team Members and fellow interns. Our goal is to have a hybrid program that will be both virtual and in-person. Final determination will be made closer to the program start date.
Summary:
The Member Relations (MR) intern reports to the Executive Vice President, Member Relations. The duties are performed over the phone/virtually, as well as through written correspondence/email. The primary objectives include: working in conjunction with the EVP, MR and other MR staff on certain data enhancements, updates and cleanup projects to improve the depth and content of ICBA member and nonmember data.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Member Relations intern to join the Member Relations team
As an MR Intern, you will provide assistance to our MR department in day-to-day operations. You will assist the MR Department in various tasks including member and nonmember data review and collection, data clean up, and current data process reviews. You will help with the data and content management around MR marketing campaigns and member/nonmember outreach. You will also do a thorough review of all MR data processes and suggest improvements and enhancements. You will assist in the creation of data dashboards and data output to be used by the MR team.
